Started a new challenge in my free time, a kind of devlog journey around this spider mech character.
I want to play around with different tech stuff through it and see what kind of challenges a character like this would face in game development.

Rig and Physics in UE Control Rig

Procedural animation and custom gravity

The spider can lose balance and fall on messy rocky surfaces.
But it resets its custom gravity and tries to land back on its feet.

Walking procedurally and adapting steps, and with some custom gravity, it sticks to surfaces and walks across any angle, even rocky, uneven ones.
